FCC web page for comments on net neutrality is inoperative.

Not only can you not open the page to Protecting and Promoting the Open Internet option,
every other topic on that site will not respond either.

Which may explain why comments for an open internet are stuck at 45,647

give it a go...does it work for you?

Just to be clear....
http://www.fcc.gov/comments is the title page, it works fine.
but you have to click on one of the comment titles, on the number to the left of the title, to get the comment page itself to open.

i tried to get any of the numbered comments to open so I could comment.
none of them would.

Email the FCC at openinternet@fcc.gov .

Find your House rep at http://www.house.gov/representatives/find .

Find your Senators at https://www.senate.gov/ .

Send a comment to the Pres. at http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact/submit-questions-and-comments .

And you can see john Oliver's recent segment on this issue AND submit your comment to the FCC at http://act.freepress.net/letter/internet_fcc_nprm_oliver/?t=4&akid=4797.9321159.GW7YcO .

Loved the bit about the far right political parties.

he seems a bit more comfortable, settling into his show.

I wonder if the FCC computers or system is overwhelmed with responses and crashed?

Being a night owl, I can check when internet traffic is light.

It would be telling if the page remains ded at that hour, I should think.

but I didn't try to actually submit anything.

In other words, if you click the docket number to the left, a page on which you can enter a brief electronic comment opens. However, if you click on the number to the right, which shows the number of comments filed, the system stalls. It does that not just for the Open Internet proceeding, but for all proceedings.

I generally get into the ECFS data base (that's what the FCC electronic filing system is called) through a different route, but its been frozen up for some time on all proceedings.

Not the first time it has happened. Not likely to be the last.
