Rejected New York Times Cartoon - Testosterone Entitlement Theatre

Interesting story - apparently David Rees and Michael Kupperman submitted a cartoon to the New York TImes about how upset some men are about the #YesAllWomen hashtag, and it was rejected. Kupperman has posted it on his website, and it's funny - so I don't know why the New York Times rejected it, other than maybe the urine in the 4th panel.

Or of course, they don't want to upset men. Some men.

Anyway worth checking out.

I think it is too hard to read in the print they would have to use to fit it in the NYT. n/t hollysmom Jun 2014 #2

Add in the urine, rape, and violence jokes and I think people think it's over the line.

Are those guys frequent contributors tithe NYT? Is that a known comic strip?
