Fox News Contributor Behind PR Campaign For Soldiers Critical Of Bowe Bergdahl

Fox News contributor Richard Grenell and his public relations firm have been coordinating interviews for soldiers criticizing the actions of recently-released Army Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl.

Those critics have said that Bergdahl, who had been imprisoned by the Taliban since 2009, risked the lives of soldiers who tried to find him after he reportedly walked off his Afghanistan base.

Several media outlets have reported on these soldiers and their concerns, including Fox News, The New York Times, Time, The Los Angeles Times, The Daily Mail, and The Daily Beast. According to a report in Buzzfeed, Fox News contributor Richard Grenell and his firm Capitol Media have "played a key role in publicizing" these critics.

Grenell served as a spokesman for former U.N. ambassador (and current Fox News contributor) John Bolton in the George W. Bush administration, and also worked for a short time on the Romney 2012 campaign.

Everything on that channel is manufactured BS hoping to serve it's master's wishes. When PR firms are treated as contributors there is no way that you are getting anything other than a bought and paid for message.

And the idiots lap it up like poisoned milk from a saucer.

What is the rush to degrade him?

What if you were in the same situation? Would you want the US to throw up their hands and say, "We suspect he walked off and was AWOL" so we're not going to save his sorry ass.

Me thinks you would be looking at this differently if you were the one to serve 5 years in some rotten hole, never knowing if tomorrow was your last. Don't be so hasty to judge.

He was awful and even his guests were frustrated that he wouldn't let them answer. He did a lot of damage, last night, and when he gets that way, they should cut to an ad and cool him off.

Either he isn't reading the background on the subjects he is covering or they aren't getting the research done on them before air time. He's been on the wrong side several times in the last 10 days or so, then has to back off.

I would refuse to be a guest commentator. Apparently, Ron Reagan must have. I haven't seen him for several months.

Ask a GREAT question, then ask it again 10 times in different ways so there is no time left to get a response.

Fuck Tweety. If M$nbc dropped him today I would say it was a decade too late.

They spend at least 20% of their shows refuting the daily RW BS story of the day.

I guess I am jaded - when I saw this story on Saturday I thought "Naw they wouldn't go after THIS...." and realized that controversy is all Fox News has right now. As the coverage got rolling I could smell BS elements through out the whole thing.
