One of the flooded victims is wheelchair bound. Police carried him out in the chair. Police have taken a beating on the DU. Much of it deserved. But between this and the Omaha Police Chief mandating none of our officers or civilians (like me) can interfere with the public video or audio recording us at anytime makes me very proud to work in the OPD headquarters.

And while this is weather...this is part of the pattern for climactic change.

You and Marta stay safe, as to the officers, a virtual glass going up in their name. They are doing their jobs, most police work, and fire and EMS, is silent and less than glamorous
