NOT all bikers OR biker gangs are the same.

I ride over 10000 miles a year. My bike is my only mode of transportation. And as a rider who has had the unfortunate experience of riding "too close" to a pack of Hell's Angels (I did not know they were HAs until it was too late), I can attest to both their viciousness and idiocy.

The self proclaimed "1%" of riders who are part of gangs like the Hell's Angels and Mongols are basic criminals on two wheels. They are just as dumb as their image entails. And they will shoot you for looking at them the wrong way.

The Hell's Angels are to motorcycle clubs what the Crips and Bloods are to youth groups.

Really? His buddies, 3 of them, are the ones who first approached me to "break the ice" so to speak, for him. I am a woman, quite beautiful according to alot of men, black white and otherwise, so perhaps, the situation was QUITE different than another man riding too close to them. I came across ALOT of HA's in Arizona while there treating for cancer and I NEVER got the stink eye...NOT even close. Comme ci comme ca.

I do not doubt for a second that a few decent human beings have infiltrated their ranks. Just as I don't doubt that there are decent human beings in Los Zetas.

But it is at its heart a group of drug dealers and murderers for hire. There is nothing at all redeeming about the gang known as Hell's Angels. All of the traits you probably attribute to them exist in other motorcycle clubs not populated by supreme assholes.

Hell's Angels came to prominence during a time of immense counter-cultural rebellion against the state. Like many gangs, their counter culture roots blossomed into outright violence. And they, like a large number of other prominent MCs, exist now as nothing more than a criminal front and haven for racists and psychopaths.

aware of the ties alot of their chapters have to white supremacy AND organised crime. I don't live too far from Hollister and know ALOT about them, their history and their evolution. I am NOT little miss Muffet neither am I Pollyanna. I am from Compton California and lost MOST of mt childhood friends to murder. REALLY? In fact, my husband was recruited by some associated clubs. I'm NOT stupid Gravity but I can tell you that NOT all of them are the same. Not that my husband ever seriously considered signing up but a few of the guys took him to the side and told me NOT to do it. He had too much to loose.
