Bookends. The first POW to the last.

Jessica Lynch was injured when her convoy took a wrong turn, she was hurt badly and her fellow soldiers were killed. She was rescued after nine days and the republicans and media created a story of how she was a Rambo and shooting her enemies. The truth came out later.

The last POW, Bowe Bergdahl returned after five years is being tried in the media and on websites without all of the facts. I believe innocent until proven guilty.

The common thread is all the middle of the POW's the vets who have been forgotten by the same republicans who put them in harms way, yet will not provide funding for their recovery.

It makes me sick.
