Jon Stewart rips Oliver North: Are you mad that prisoner-trading has ‘gone mainstream’?

......................................

“Finally, some practical advice from an informed voice on the right,” Stewart said. “You can overstep your authority, just lie the sh*t out of it afterwards.”

.....................................”

The “tragedy” of the exchange of Bergdahl for five Taliban members, North told Fox, was that the deal became public knowledge.

“The reality is, they don’t talk about it,” North said, before referring to Obama. “Ronald Reagan didn’t, and this guy shouldn’t have done it.”

...................................

“So you’re saying it now like it’s a bad thing. Does this make you mad ’cause it’s gone mainstream?” Stewart responded. “‘I was into using American taxpayer money to arm terrorist groups way before it was cool.’

Just showing the continuing disrespect that the conservatives have shown President Obama from the first day of his first term.
As for Mr. North, he is a disgraced former member of the armed forces. That pretty much says it all for the value of his contributions to the conversation.

He still has to keep his name out there for speaking gigs etc. The fact that no one at the two "news networks" that he appeared on never stopped to even consider how ridiculous presenting in any way connected to this shows their hubris and the outright lying machines that they are.

Here's a photo of him:

Makes me want to everytime I hear/see/read about him. Never forget , way back when, as he was being grilled about his secret government dealings with Iraq him being in uniform with that school-boy, oh-so-innocent look. Worthless piece of shit with no honor.

how well scripted and well prepared the GOP was for this episode of the 'Obama bad' Teapublican sitcom nothing else does.
I'll give them this. Having Ollies rotting carpus waiting in the wings shows that the GOP can plan for some things.

Cripes, you have to wonder what kind of perverted dog and pony show they would have put on if Obama had chosen plan 'B' and done nothing.
