Wars are easy to start and very difficult to end.

People's lives are turned upside down.

That is what is happening right now. The President is trying to end the wars and close down the illegal prison in Guantanamo Bay.

It is easy for Congress to criticize the President and blame him for all the confusion and decisions that must be made. But it is they that should be looking in the mirror. It is they that rushed our country into wars and approved actions that went against everything our country ever believed in. It is they that should be accepting responsibility.

We don't know all the facts about the circumstances surrounding the young soldier, Bowe Bergdahl. Yet, we have Congressmen and talking heads vilifying him to no end. Sadly, it appears that this young soldier, held as a POW for 5 years, is not the only victim in his family. His father seems to have suffered as if he were himself a POW? This war has torn this family asunder.

Now the country is trying to deal with this terrible ordeal. It is only one effect from hastily going to war.

As the President said the other day, all wars must come to an end. Many in our country are having a difficult time dealing with that reality. But the troops will come home and the prisoners in Gitmo must be freed. We must deal with the problems of war.
