Is Brazil planning on using these six new stadiums for public housing once the tournament is over? I'm not a soccer fan, but what the bloody f**k is any country doing spending $11 billion just to host the World Cup?
Brazil is in deep doo doo. This is going to be some crazy-ass football!

(17,064 posts)Making them multi purpose probably adds a bit to the cost. Plus, some of the money may be for athlete housing, plus communication and transportation infrastructure improvements? Still, it does seem like a lot.... especially since the filthy water isn't going to get cleaned up.
