Michelangelo Signorile says Obama should have put W and co under investigation day one of prez

Which would have put the right on the defensive for years allowing Obama to actually get shit done for the American people

As the morons would be on the defense this entire time...

Yes The Dems had the chance BUT the republicans cried about not starting off in the negative with a new President so the Democrats backed off. They also wanted a investigation into the unaccounted for $6 BILLION bucks from IRAQ & that was shot down by the courts! 4. Right. Because the President is judge, jury and executioner and can do that on a whim.

Without Congress, it was impossible. Any idiot knows that.

I am not criticizing him for not doing it, his entire party took the easy way out on that...

But he had the opportunity to use the House when they had control of the house and senate, to have Nancy get it going

they didnt

they should have

Whatever else one may think of Obama, he is undeniably a smart man. He deserves the benefit of the doubt. If he didn't think it was doable, it probably wasn't.

I am NOT blaming Obama nor was he, just making an observation

But since the President would have been yelling "charge" with virtually no elected officials to back him up, it would have been a profoundly pointless move.

If, apart from the view of extreme partisans, one can find any indication that there was any popular support for President Obama starting his historic presidency in such a fashion, I'd love to see it.

No.

So now we move back another step and ask the question: should Obama and the Democrats, facing a crashing economy, made a centerpiece of their campaigns a promise to focus on investigating Bushco.
