Ass Hat Tony Perkins: Christians forced to bake cakes for gays like forcing Jews into Nazi ovens

Another religious right leader invoked Holocaust imagery to complain about a recent civil rights ruling in Colorado. Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council, spoke Thursday with the attorney of a baker who lost his court battle to refuse service to LGBT customers who ordered cakes to celebrate their legal same-sex marriages.

The state’s Civil Rights Commission last week upheld an administrative judge’s finding that Christian bakery owner Jack Phillips had violated Colorado’s anti-discrimination statutes. Attorney Nicolle Martin, of the Alliance Defending Freedom, told Perkins the ruling was part of an ongoing “witch hunt” against Christians, reported Right Wing Watch.

Perkins reached for a more recent historical analogy to compare the state’s actions to Nazi Germany.

“I’m beginning to think, are re-education camps next?” Perkins wondered aloud. “When are they going to start rolling out the boxcars to start hauling off Christians?”

I've said it before, I reiterate: If it has FAITH, FAMILY, FOX or FREEDOM in the Title, it's a fuckin' TeapubliKKKan TRAP.

didn't want P:erkins to play him in "Fear Strikes Out" because he was gay. But Piersall was a bonafide nut job, anyhow. If A.P. was miscast, it was only because he was left-handed, as opposed to the right-handed Piersall, and had to learn to throw right-handed, etc.

BTW who is the "they" who will send people to "reeducation camps."? Is it the same "some people" who feed stories to Fox News?

I often think the same thing when I hear these right wing hate monger types, consumed with poisonous hatred, droning on and on about how much they hate gay people AND how they think re-education camps are really going to happen. I wonder why they keep claiming that when it never happens.

At this point, I'd be for re-education camps if it got that soul consuming hatred out of them. When was the last time any of them wanted to feed the poor or anything else even remotely positive, for that matter? My hometown is like that. Just about every church sign in town is some anti-gay message. Meanwhile, the homeless shelter we did have, did not allow women or children inside because the men *might* not behave themselves (or so they claimed that was their reason). That one homeless shelter burned down and now there is NO homeless shelter even for the men. None of the local churches seem all too concerned about it. Just put signs up talking about how much they hate gay people and spend every waking moment consumed with hatred. I honestly wonder which master they are really serving.

if they didn't say the nuttiest damn thing in the universe, and they are just ratcheting it up in competition to be who can be looniest. Sooner or later, the Jenga tower of nut jobs will fall. It has to - they can't possibly get any nervier with their insanity.

If the gay couples pushed the bakers into the ovens WITH the cake, that would be like putting Jews in ovens. Baking a cake is just NOT the moral equivalent of genocide.
