A popular GOP meme debunked! Share this with your friends who still believe the lies.

Normally, I would put this in propaganda debunking; however, due to the timeliness of this, I thought I'd bring it here:

This is from the Facebook page "The Bayou Progressive"

This is the propaganda:

This is the debunk:

These 6 men did NOT die looking for Bowe Bergdahl, the POW President Obama brought home. This is how these 6 brave soldiers REALLY DIED and the dates:

Pvt. 1st Class Morris Walker died Aug. 18 in Dila, Afghanistan, of wounds sustained when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle. Also killed was Staff Sgt. Clayton P. Bowen.

Army Staff Sgt. Kurt Curtiss, 27, was fatally shot Aug. 25 in a firefight as his unit tried to clear a group of insurgents out of a hospital in Paktika province.

... a former co-worker... who would constantly post the latest RW poutrage du jour. Naturally, I'd debunk it... after all, if you're posting stuff on fb you're inviting comments, right? So, after repeatedly debunking the falsehoods he was posting, he eventually "unfriended" me. No great loss. But it does illustrate that these people aren't interested in being informed or educated. They want to live in a bubble where their bigotry, ignorance, and fantasies get positive reinforcement from others, and contradictive evidence that causes them cognitive dissonence isn't present. Thats why Limbaugh, Beck, Palin, Cruz, and the others are so popular with the wingnuts.

If you site Snopes, for example, they'll respond that Snopes is a George Soros -funded tool of the administration.
