(12,157 posts)or a link at least- I don't see it and I have allow images checked. Besides that I see everyone else's images.

(56,828 posts)If you still can't see it, then it's one picture of a Taliban guy with his knife to Bergdahl's throat. Then, another picture of Bergdahl with the same knife to his throat, only this time held by Fox News.

(12,157 posts)Strange think is SeaMonkey won't display it but Safari and Foxfire will. Maybe this is one to ask the SeaMonkey people.
freshwest
(53,661 posts)I don't have SeaMonkey, and my iMac isn't even upgraded to OSX 10.6.8, as it won't work on my Intel Mac.
It won't upgrade in Safari, Opera, Chrome or Firefox as I can't change my OSX and not lose most of what I have. Can't even get into email hardly.
I would have to buy another computer. I'm being shut out of a lot of things now. Sigh.

(12,157 posts)MAC OS 10.6.8 Mozilla SeaMonkey 2.26. I can see the toon posted by NewJeffCT but not the one in the OP. All that's in the comment box is the REC score.
The image in the OP shows up in Safari but not SeaMonkey.

(2,805 posts)I had installed that a few weeks ago and found it blocked some images here on DU. Just a thought.
TexasProgresive
(12,157 posts)I'm thinking there have been other images that I could see at DU but thought the original poster was being obtuse so I just clicked to a different thread.
2 addons:
Adblock plus and DOM Inspector.
gvstn
(2,805 posts)I've used AdblockPlus for years so it shouldn't be that one and nothing in DOM inspector should be interfering either.
I'll enable Disconnect again on my computer and take note of any missing images at DU and see if I can narrow down their source. The only thing I can think of is that possibly you added a filter to Adblock which is blocking a particular image server but I could be way off. I don't usually customize my addons with filters except Ghostery which blocks a few elements I need so I do remove a few filters on that one.

(26,619 posts)He's been strong and smart most of the time. That his administration didn't inform Congress, ha! I wouldn't inform that bunch of clowns with any sensitive information. I can just see them running their mouths on Fox.
I wouldn't second guess President Obama or Secretary Hagel on this, and will not discuss this issue until all the facts are know, except to say, rescuing Bergdahl was the right thing to do no matter what.

(15,241 posts)And other executive decisions?
Do we have to wait for some privileged historian in 50+ years to shed light on why these decisions were made?
I'd really like to see a mechanism that publishes government actions (black/clear) based on some known rules. I don't think that we should need FOIA requests, especially when the potential requestors may not know what happened. I do think that this information should be automatically released unless overriden by an independent court (whatever that is nowadays).
mountain grammy
(26,619 posts)really, not such a good idea. Nothing is for sure, nothing is black and white. Kind of like 3 strikes and you go to jail hasn't worked worth a damn. "some known rules" What would those be?

(22,791 posts)...and I have found their reporting on Bergdahl objective, as always. Don't confuse hard questions with a lack of sympathy. Softball interviews do no one a favor. Hard questions give the interviewee an opportunity to strongly defend Bergdahl. I have come away from NPR's reporting on Bergdahl's case feeling that the Obama administration unquestionably did the right thing, and followed both military and political precedents in doing so.
