Young voter turnout almost doubled from 2010 to 2012, which massively helped the Democrats...

In 2010, voter turnout among the 18-29 age group was 24%

Support for Obama varied greatly by gender and race, among the young voter demographic:

98% of young, Black, females voted for Obama
82% of young, Hispanic females voted for Obama
80% of young, Black males voted for Obama

54% of young, White males voted for Romney



More generally:
56% of Seniors voted for Romney

Or we could advance some liberal/progressive positions and motivate young people to the polls. That is, if our leaders really want to win.

The president is signing an executive order to greatly ease their student loan burdens. Hopefully, this will spur them enough to go out and thank him by helping elect a Congress and Senate that will work with him.

The white liberal intelligencia? Not so much. I hate to think what I'm thinking, but it's something I heard Rush Limbaugh say a long time ago about white liberals, and I'm seeing it firsthand these days.

Ahhh - but someone will be along any moment now and say it's not fair - we are discriminating against so and so by pointing out just how loyal black women are to the Democratic Party. Until someone comes along and gives those young women a better newer shinier deal . . .

Ross Perot almost gave me that in 1992 then my mom brought me back from the brink of insanity!
