Does this statement from a Taliban terrorist justify drone strikes?

"As long as we are breathing, our attacks will be continuing 'til the end of our lives," he vowed.

It looks like that statement was from someone who was attempting to justify retaliatory acts FOLLOWING drone strikes.

Violence begets violence. Always has, always will.

I'd rather step off that merry-go-round.

The Taliban is a blood-chillingly evil organisation.

Killing people who take up arms to fight for it is an entirely reasonable and laudable goal.

Killing people who are entirely or mostly innocent, but are standing near members of the Taliban, or mistaken for them, is a very bad thing indeed.

Drone strikes appear (although I am not an expert and may be wrong about this) to kill more civilians per target than other weaponry, making them a bad way to wage war.
