LOS ANGELES (AP) — An attorney for Donald Sterling says the Los Angeles Clippers owner has pulled his support from a deal to sell the team to former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer and will pursue his $1 billion federal lawsuit against the NBA.

Attorney Maxwell Blecher says Monday that Sterling "instructed (us) to prosecute the lawsuit" and the deal's off.

He should take the money and run. Far, far away. I don't see how this is going to end well for him. His lawyer? He'll make millions though.

I have more respect for smelly things I've had to scrape off the soles of my boots than I do for Sterling.

He's dying and he's going to go down swinging and causing as much damage as he can just to spite everyone.

Just take the team, assets, trademarks, and the staff and start over, leave Sterling to rot with a worthless, empty shell of an organization. That would be divine justice!
