it occurred to me that every so often we end up with people like these trying to start a "race war." In the past, there has been a sort of random, Messianic-complex quality to this kind of violence, as with Manson or Koresh. Some insanity wrapped up in delusions of grandeur. Lately, I am inclined to think that there is some organization under the surface that is more than a few unstable individuals surfing the same frequency. There has to be because too many of these people fancy themselves to be part of an army with some of them having actual military experience. That sort of identity demand structure and hierarchy. It also requires financing.

Some might say it would politicize the sad event too much. Hell, it was a murderous political act that killed them. The nation needs to have all that forced down their empty soulless throat so that what the white supremacists and anti-government gun-loving haters really stand for. Their revolution needs to be televised. FOX needs to be held accountable for its support of this hateful movement. Bring it on!! America, this is you.

Other than these 2, there has only been 1 other Vegas cop killed in the line of duty since the advent of the modern bulletproof vest, Henry Prendis (sp?) in 2006. He got a hero's funeral. I'm sure it will be the same with these two.

some are. I'm more concerned about domestic terrorism in the US than threats from "them" over there. We have some extremely serious issues going on in this country, but most politicians don't want to disturb the gravy train supporting them, so many turn the other way. Meanwhile, there is a cancer growing and growing in this country.

At the time, I was following the activities of the major right wing militias, Posse Comitatus, and other assorted fascist crazies. SPLC kept on hitting me up for more and more money. I quit donating and FINALLY they called to inquire why I had stopped sending contributions. I explained that the main reason for all of this reich wing activity was because of the propagandists on Focks Nooze, people like Druggie Limbaugh, Savage, Hannity and many more hate preachers who are the "leaders" of the republikan party. I indicated that I would be a sponsor again IF SPLC start identifying these people as the major instigators of their activities. SPLC won't say anything because it may cause them to lose major right-leaning contributors.

Every racist and reich wing POS I run into here in Texas listens to all or some of those hate talkers including clowns like Alex Jones. I listen sometimes just to see how "out there" he gets and believe me, he gets WAY out there.

Until the general public, by way of the MSM, learns how these folks get stirred up by the hate talkers and conspiracy theorists, it's only going to get worse.

Be prepared. *An old Boy Scout commandment*. Learn to protect yourself. Arm yourself. Lots of these folks attack ASSUMING that most folks are unarmed and will surrender quickly.

I'm not advocating violence, but everyone needs to BE PREPARED for the worst of these folks.
