There must be something wrong with me; I'm a white, straight woman who was so enthused about the

campaign of Barack Obama, could not get enough of his speeches and meet-ups during his campaign. It was like my years in the '50s, so enthused about the appearance of a possible rock star in the area (you can tell I'm a woman of a "certain age). Wouldn't you think I would be enthused about Mrs. Clinton? I'm not, at all. Just more of the same of the Clintons and I don't care that she would/will be the first woman President. Maybe I'll get that feeling back, but so far, I got nothing...

is the whole concept of royal families. Is that what this country is becoming? A place where the president is either a Bush or a Clinton? Obama seemed to put the lie to that notion of mine, but now we're swinging right back in that direction. And something about it makes me nervous. Her being a woman doesn't matter at all. It's the position of privilege that bugs me. She's a Clinton - so she gets to be president? I know that sounds simplistic, but .... it just bugs me.

I'm not all that excited either. Too much of a political machine.

I wish Elizabeth Warren would run.

White female, approaching 50, was also very excited about Obama in 2008.

I will absolutely vote for her if she is the nominee but I am not very excited about the idea of her being the nominee.

(I would love to see a woman be president, so there would be that, anyway.)
