(21,115 posts)such shenanigans...listen up. Do you hear that.....the people still want change....they are electing more tealibangelicals because they are literally throwing their own overboard. Wouldn't surprise me to see Lindsay Graham lose either. But though they are a minority they ARE turning out to vote....they WILL be there in the midterms. The ONLY thing we have to do....is make sure more of US show up! They are not a gigantic voting bloc....most people in their party are just staying out of it....but their radicals show up! What WE need is a united front....All we have to do is turn more out to the polling booth then their measly piss poor numbers! It is well within our grasp...it is ours to lose. We should not be putting up with much more cage rattling from the rancorous side....most of their party is now apathetic. All we have to do is walk the walk....talk the talk. Stop second guessing ourselves and ACT like the winners of the Social War that WE are! WE should now be turning to THEM and asking...."now WHAT ARE you gonna do"? Cause they got nothing! They have been playing the "stop any and all potential successes of the Black President" so long....they have forgotten what the fuck they are FOR. All we have do do is start asking them about that! That's what winners would be doing right now....not constantly punching themselves in the face. Winners would be asking them....."So what ARE your plans to fix all the things you are complaining about?
Just make them say it......or continue to say nothing at all!

Activists decide these primaries, the GOP activists are hardline reactionaries.

(5,756 posts)Cantor's former constituents are more right than Cantor and they're pissed he didn't keep the government shut down??? That doesn't make much sense in the Richmond area does it? It's a suburb of DC where there are many government employees who were out of work for a while.
Can't wait to hear all the pundits on this.
