I'm sorry that Cantor lost.

I don't like him, but any prospect of immigration reform (which I supported) is now dead. Every Republican will back away from it like a hot potato, terrified of meeting the same fate. And it's not as though the seat is going to go Democratic.

Every bit of info I can find says that immigration was the key issue in this race, the one issue that The Brat run heavy on.

If hatred of immigrants can trump a 40:1 spending advantage, that sends a very strong signal.

It was going to be razor thin if it passed at all. Now? No way.

I wish the Teabaggers had a couple of hundred Louie Gohmerts win primaries, that party would implode before six months were up.

My money says that they will double down against the monster THEY created.

Besides, dude will be a Freshman. The establishment Rs may (if he's lucky) give him a seat on some obscure committee.

Relish the implosion of the GOP, financed by their own big wigs.
