Poll: Has DU given up on Discussionist?

There has not been any new threads with Discussionist in the title since Friday?

There has only been two posts (one by Skinner and one by Gothmog) this week on threads that were started last week. The reaction here at DU reminds me of opening a bottle of soda: the fizz is gone and the soda is flat.

Is Discussionist the "New Coke" of 2014?

Yes, Discussionist is dead to me. The only time I might look is if someone posts a link on DU.

Yes, I may lurk over at Discussionist but I don't participate otherwise.

Ok, be warned: You will almost certainly serve on a jury- as soon as you create the account. silvershadow Jun 2014 #6

Yesterday was old folks, today is cantor, tomorrow who knows. Discussionist outrage was a week or so ago...

Still see the same unreachables. Still see DU's banned teabaggers that slithered their way over.

I'd log in and destroy them on Trickle-Down and Laissez-Fail, but it'd be an exercise in futility and I have no time to essay-trade with Dunning-Krugertarians.

Like I said before . . . unless these willfully obtuse people puck up and admit that their precious "Free Market" is corrupt, there's no dialogue to be had. They merely traded one cross for another.

Can't debate with people that have no concept on what it means to be wrong. Rove taught them that.

check it out. There is no point in trying to take on the wingers over there, and tonight it appears they have overtaken. I participated in a jury that was just whacked, so that's enough for me. They can have it. I don't have time to have a civil discussion with those types anyway, it's like trying to teach a pig to sing: it wastes your time and annoys the pig. Pointless to argue when the starting point is always something that is obviously disproven. They are like juveniles. Juveniles who failed history class and government class.

I'll have to lurk over there later to see what's up. The last time I checked in I notice that only three or four new threads were posted each hour and at times it is even less. I have not created an account over there though.

That's what happened to me, and almost every time I log in. I served on a jury without even knowing what the rules were. LOL (Oh and there are a fair number of alerts going on for no more traffic than they have. Ridiculous.
