So it begins, the only way to show the crazies they are wrong is to put them in charge...

The voters have spoken, but that also means a decade or 2 of 30% unemployment, collapse of the interstate road system, no public education, the overthrow of roe v wade, no minimum wage, no medical ins.

Hell of a way to make a point, but that is the way it is always done.

Maybe Cantor's peeps will stay home.

Stranger things have happened.

Worst case? We've traded a Wingnut Leader for a Wingnut back bencher.

12. Thank you. The Dems have been HORRIBLE about building local parties

to find and pay for local candidates in local areas. The Pubs have been funding their own candidates for dogcatcher for 30 goddamn years. Dem leadership rejected Dean's 50-state strategy and wonder why they don't win. Personally, I think Dem leadership is too comfortable running shit from their desks for great salaries; I can't see any indication that they really care who wins or loses -- they still get paid, after all. They're like the Washington Generals against the Globetrotters.

It is simple, everything a con wants, or a teaparty member, will absolutely destroy their lives and mine and yours.

But the only way to convince them of this, to cure them of the stupid, is to actually live the results of their agenda.

When their house burns and no firemen come, when their house is broken into and no police, when the road they need to get to work isnt a road the Koch Bros need or Exxon needs, it wont be there, etc.

the only concern is how many of us die while the morons are learning their lesson?

4. "That war-mongering hypercapitalist failed because he wasn't conservative enough."

Whoever is put in charge and however close adheres to the conservative doctrine, if he fails, those within the bubble will contribute it to him not being conservative enough.

The voters will be willing to take a more careful look, but to some people the doctrine is infallible and therefore failure stems from deviating from the doctrine.

My prediction:
The republican party will become more radicalized and loose voters in the process until it brakes apart into two smaller parties: A moderate one and an extremist one. The polls will be
Democrats 50%
Republicans 40%
Libertarian-Tea-Party-Freedom-Patriots-for-Defending-the-Homeland 10%

The LTPFPfDtH will become the save haven for all of those gone insane from being ruled by a woman.
