My Husband Just Asked Me If Wendy Davis Dropped Out Of

her bid for Governorship in Texas. I know she was having some sort of fight with DGA, anyone know what's going on?

I listen to an alternative channel than MSNBC, so didn't hear anything yet.

Just need info if anyone has any.

Karin Johanson is just handing over the job to state representative Chris Turner.

The Davis campaign announced that Karin Johanson, a veteran campaign manager, will be replaced by state Rep. Chris Turner (D). Johanson previously served as Sen. Tammy Baldwin's (D-WI) campaign manager for her Senate campaign.

"After building one of the most competitive campaign organizations Texas has seen in decades, Karin Johanson has let me know that she believes it's time to hand off the reins of the campaign management for our final push toward election day," Davis said in a statement on Wednesday.

Davis praised Turner for his two decades of experience in Texas politics which includes him fighting and winning "tough races in the state."

Campaign managers do not "just handling over the job" to someone else. They don't get to do that. The candidate determines that and the manager was indeed fired.

The DGA is focusing on closer races. Texas is still a long shot but I believe that Wendy has a good chance. Part of this is based on the fact that Greg Abbott is a weak candidate and has been making mistakes
