There is no "policy" for these people. Their goal is to take office and tear down everything around them.

From wiki: Originally from Alma, Michigan, Brat moved to Virginia in 1996 with his wife, Laura. Brat attended Hope College in Michigan and received a B.A. in Business Administration in 1986; he also graduated with a Master's degree in Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary in 1990 and earned a Ph.D in economics from American University in 1995.

whether there should be a minimum wage? How does an American worker not have an opinion on a minimum wage? There is a standard right wing answer on this that isn't too shocking, but is disappointing, that they disapprove any minimum wage. The only reason for him not to give that simple answer is that he deviates from that position, which is not surprising, given that he teaches economics at a college level. This guy could very well be a stalking horse. (Meaning he is one of ours.)

...with his version of religion.

(As a M. Div. from Princeton Theological Seminary, and co-author of “God and Advanced Mammon – Can Theological Types Handle Usury and Capitalism?” and “An Analysis of the Moral Foundations in Ayn Rand.”, Brat obviously has been polishing up his "crafting" skills.)

IT SHOULD BE A RIOT for this self-described "free market guy" craft his defense of 582% payday loan interest rates on national TV!

Now what does he do? He's a small ball candidate concentrating on a couple of hot button issues. Let's hope his Democratic opponent is better prepared to answer the complex questions that will face someone running for national office.
