I hereby move we retire the beloved epithet "moran," and replace it with...

...wait for it...

...you know it must be coming....

GOHMERT!

It has a ring to it, doesn't it?

"He's such a gohmert!"

"Only a complete gohmert would think of cleaning their iPad in the dishwasher."

"The gohmerts in my district turned out in force and nominated the biggest gohmert of all!"

Because, seriously.... What a gohmert!

Look at post #7 below. That's where DUers got the word "Moran" from only someone photoshopped the photo and added the "is" at the end. Originally it said, "Get a Brain Moran".
