Murder suspect claims gay victim ‘tried to rape him’

A Kentucky man suspected of murder claims his victim had tried to force him into having sex.

26-year-old Arthur Michael DeCarvalho, of Dunedin, Kentucky, faces a charge of first-degree murder for killing David Elsey, 50.

According to TBO, court records state that DeCarvalho was found wandering the streets while drunk by police, and confessed to bashing Elsey’s head in with a hatchet.

However, according to the court records, police found Elsey dead in his home, lying naked on his bed, tied up by his arms and legs with cord.

The man who was tied up by his arms and legs was trying to force sex upon the man welding a hatchet. Oh yeah, the man that was tied up is gay. Like that is supposed to mean anything. Oh wait a minute, this was in Kentucky, Senator Rand Paul's state.

I don't get 'it'. Unless you are trying to show the world your particular type of joy in spreading misogynist-type hatred toward the gay community as well as the feminist. Frankly, yada, yada, yada, it 'aint going to float.

Oh, wait a minute! Sarcasm! Now why didn't I see that without the smilie?

It should be interesting to see whether a jury buys it or not. In the past decade, gay panic defense has been heavily losing ground, but it does work on occasion.

Arthur, the murderer, claims he isn't gay, however, he approached David on gayarrangements.com. Once he moved in he sure looked gay to me, he acted like David's boyfriend. David was in love. He thought arthur was "the one" David may have liked things freaky but he is being portrayed by this man as a rapist. Which is bull. Davids ex of over 5 years says david would've never done that. Other exes say the same. I believe this pos arthur had this planned from day 1. David was twice this guy's age, I believe he was drugged than tied up. David I hope you rest in peace after you haunt Arthur to death!!

That's more or less the scenario I suspected when I read the story. Thanks for the additional info and I'm very sorry about your friend.
