So what is the rate of school shootings since Sandy Hook, anyway?

I latched on to this Bill Moyers piece on facebook, which he said there has been on average one school shooting per week since Sandy Hook. Some journalists investigated each listed case in detail and determined that they did not meet the requirement of “school shootings” because it was outside of a school or a homicide close to a school that had nothing to do with the school. In short, a lot of the list has been “debunked”, and by CNN, no less. CNN says the rate since Sandy Hook is not one per week, but one every five weeks.

So do any of my DU buds, that are more immersed in this issue than I, have any highly credible, reliable and impeccable information on just what is the exact rate of school shootings since Sandy Hook?

Thank you.
