The newest batch of peregrine falcon chicks atop the Woodmen Tower have been named after four of the main characters in the movie "Frozen."
The females were named Anna and Elsa. The males were named Hans and Olaf.
The names were chosen through a contest on Facebook. The winning names were submitted by Jenny Sopcich of Omaha on behalf of her son J.T., who will receive a framed picture of the falcons and an invitation to the 2015 VIP Banding.
The falcons, now about a month and a half old, have left the nest and will be flying soon. You can catch them on the Woodmen Tower cameras at http://www.woodmen.org/falcons/falcon_cam.cfm
