When you're worse than Palin you're a real special kind of guy

Alaska Governor Parnell has decided to continue the “kill-on-site” policy for wolf pups and bear cubs orphaned by state predator control to continue.
The state announced on June 2nd that it will not alter it's kill on site policy
In 2009, Parnell rescinded the protocol which called for rescuing the pups, two newborn wolf pups were gassed in their den after they were orphaned by state wolf control
When asked to return to the non-lethal protocol, the ADFG refused citing rabies as their concern
There have been about a half-dozen wolves suffering from rabies in the last 70 years, all in the Arctic Zone
After killing the wolf pups and bear cubs the bodies are left behind. They are not taken and tested. They just leave them to decay.

The non-lethal protocol was enacted in Nov 2008 in response to the gassing by state officials of 14 newborn wolf pups. Though passed by the governor after he, Gov Sarah Palin supported the protocol while she was still governor and after she quit to run as McCain's veep.
