McGrampy blamed his Iraq vote on Colin Powell today on CNN.

Last edited Fri Jun 13, 2014, 11:20 PM - Edit history (1)

Wolf Blitzer (paraphrased): Hillary Clinton has said that her Iraq war vote was a mistake. What do you say about your yes vote?

McCain (paraphrased): It's very hard to vote no when the Secretary of State goes to the U.N. and is presenting evidence of weapons of mass destruction.

Ugh

On edit: Thanks to Don Viejo, here's the chronology:

iwr vote - 10/10/2002

Powell presentation to UN - 2/5/2003

McMain's statement makes no sense

"Evidence." If I drew a picture of McCain with WMDs up his ass, would that be evidence? arcane1 Jun 2014 #4

and there would be more wars, as he said in 2008. I guess he can't keep it straight.

My disgust with all of them -- pro-war Dems included -- is off the charts. And I'm flashing back to some idiot coworkers who I went 'round and 'round with:

--WMDs!
--WMDs taken to Syria in the dead of night!
--Spread democracy!
--Kick their ass and steal their gas!
--Fight them there so we don't have to fight them here!
--Saddam gassed his own people!

*Ugh* doesn't even begin to cover it.
