French rail strike drags on, risks disrupting exams

Article from yesturday, but couldnt found more recent in English.

The strikes continues trough all this weekend. No negociations succeded between unions and authorities lately.

This strikes comes along as well as one upcoming of Air France, and even summers festivals are thretened becauses artistic workers are on strike too!!!!!

Douce France, cher pâys du conflit social.......

I go caught caught in the airline one in 2007 and the rail one in 2008. I don't blame those folks! You gotta strike while the iron is hot. With the holiday season coming - they are striking while the iron is heating up.

I love strikes too, but in the actual very tense climate....well commuters are upsets and it even created violence! In my central France town, I witnessed a fight at the train station between commuters and employees. Police had to come down to stop it!

Rail strikes mean long crowded bus rides and getting up super early and lots of other surprises but vive la France anyway!
