Bill Maher gives advice to Coloradoans on their responsibilities.

I tend to agree with him on the edibles. However, I think it is more the quality of the pot that causes paranoia and delusions, rather than the fact that it is "edible". And I agree that pot should not be sold as candy or cookies. Sooner or later, a child will find it and eat it.

to a point of clearly labeling dose size and with a big "Mr. Yuck!" prominently displayed on them. It would also be a nice idea if dispensaries also told people that stuff.

I haven't smoked dope since the 80s and I wouldn't do manufactured edibles, although I might make myself a batch of weak Alice B. Toklas brownies for when it's one of those days I know I won't be going anywhere.

They usually have about 15-20mg THC per serving. They are usually good for 10-12 servings. I don't know how much Mo Dowd tried but she should not have tried it alone. Why do you think they call it dope?

However, people have doing drugs for almost all of recorded history. They like their booze or something else. I actually never thought that I would ever see the day that you could buy recreational marijuana. It's amazing !

Banning psychoactive plants is never going to work for long, just like banning the original bathtub drug, alcohol, was.

There is a reason we have receptors in our brains for opiates, THC and coca. We need these plants to help us cope with our often jangling, big brain lives and the less than perfect climates we live in.
