Is it possible we harp too much on the Koch brothers?

Don't get me wrong here, I live in a state ruled by Koch money. (Wisconsin)

But are the Koch brothers being scapegoated for our own failures, like when Walker was recalled, and the recall failed?

When stealing money for Oklahoma oil land owners, Charles stated that he wanted his fair share and that fair share was that everything was his.

Until you hear their names on the evening news on the networks, we can't speak about them enough.

They are the spawn of one of the founding fathers of the John Birch Society from the 50s and 60s. It's an organization that has had this take over model for the US for more than a half a century. Slow patient steps decade after decade and they have us almost exactly where they want us.

No. It's a calculated, patient work of destruction and oligarchical control.

what's your agenda? You live in a Koch-money-run state and you need to ask that?

The Kochs throw around a lot of money, like during the 2012 campaign. I worked for the Obama campaign and used to register voters at the DMV in my state. One day we struck up a conversation with an innocent looking couple also registering voters. I asked who they worked for and was told Americans for Prosperity.

They weren't doing it naively either. They got so much for each registration, and I have my doubts as to what they did with the democratic registrations they got.

There are a lot of people on Koch brother payrolls that worked behind the scenes to make sure that recall didn't work — like the notoriously crooked election official in one county. You really think the outcome of that recall wasn't paid for?

Just sayin'.

We have this tendency to ignore the other 1% -ers who are corrupting the system too.

and all the little people will make less money. That is what they are working hard at. It is not scapegoating when you want to fight the life's work of some monster. And we need to keep mentioning them. You never know when some DU newbie shows up and needs to be informed about them and how the rich are buying their government.

Why are you asking?
Do you feel bad for the Kochs?
Do YOU think we are scapegoating the Kochs?
Do you work for a survey company?

Answer my questions.....then you will deserve answers from others. Until then you are fishing.

Their ALEC funded organization just met in Dallas last week to form a new group that is going to go after the county and city elections all over the US. They are undermining the whole electoral system of the United States. Yes, there are more rich people doing this, but the Koch brothers are the worst and are better organized and have been at it for a long time. They do pose a real threat to honest hardworking Americans.

Announcer talks about all the wonderful products they provide, how they make life happier and and everybody loves their neighbors, kids succeed in school, and your pets thrive. I exaggerate, of course, but that was the gist. Little video clips or life well spent!!
They must feel the need to burnish their image.
BTW this is in New Hampshire, prime time, but damn it I can't remember whether it was cable or network. My bad.

influence our elections and we need to let people know this because NO ONE wants to have some outsider running their state/government. But I do hear you. If there was a recall and nothing was changed then maybe some blame needs to be taken by the voters. If the recall was today do you think the outcome would be any different? Just curious.
