To them, the Soviet Union fell because Reagan outspent them militarily and they lost in Afghanistan. They believe he brought down the Berlin Wall with the power of his Mighty Mouth.

This has caused them to believe American military power and a well written speech can transform the world into a capitalist utopia where their own elite class is hailed as Saviors.
