Obama is about to undo Bush's victory in Iraq

http://www.stonekettle.com/2014/06/absolutely-nothing.html

A rant by a former Navy intelligence officer on the newest republican talking-point.

For those on DU unable to grasp the concept of my headline, it's called "sarcasm".

staggering blunder, they continue to view as a 'victory'.

If they viewed Vietnam the same way, maybe they could stop spewing that nonsense about "we coulda won it if the gubmint had just let us."

4. By stirring up the Iraqi War again, don't you think it is time to bring up war crimes?

Since the Republicans rewrite history, they've probably forgotten the disgust so many of the US citizens had that they were able to walk free after their Mission Accomplished War. Other countries know it, why not the US? Why are we even listening to them?

Cheney saved his ass with Halliburton and is probably still adding billions to their coffers. Rumsfeld still doesn't understand why everyone was so upset over the war. He thought they did a bang-up job! Bush, the Inept, sits at his easel knowing he saved Daddy's honor and locked up his papers until after we're all dead. The list goes on and on, but the worst thing that comes to mind is how the Flag Waving/Love Our Troops party now votes to shut off additional funding to help the maimed and ease the mental anguish of PTSD. They created the problem, so let them help these brave men and women gain back as much of their health as can be done. And, don't any of you warmongers let thinking about those who lost their lives get in the way of a good night's rest. Hell, Cheney may never die with all the metal he has pumping inside him, so why would he care?

There isn't a heart in the whole damned bunch.

to nail this can of worms shut.

cuz boy howdy, if we were to all take to the streets again, and hell, all carry the same signs again, war crimes would be front and center.
hell, i could dust off quite a few of my old buttons that i made during the bush years and claim some pretty fat "i told you so" points.

still wear my giggling murderer button.

Since they insist on giving advice, they need to be shown the error of their ways in history. I feel sorry for all their mothers (except Barbie, of course), as I'll bet all of these clowns lied their way through their youth and forgot any naughty things they did.

You said, "still wear my giggling murderer button." I missed that one.

8. If a "victory" can only be maintained by endless war then that is no victory.
