Drunk,waving a gun,yelling about his 2nd amendment rights

and the coming "revolution".

Expect more of this on a daily basis:
Just-released police footage showed a tense standoff between Kalamazoo, MI cops and a man carrying a rifle down the street last month, a situation eventually required the entire block to be shut down as a SWAT negotiator tried to convince the man to surrender his firearm.

Michigan laws allow residents to carry firearms but not to brandish them. After several emergency calls reporting an elderly man, possibly intoxicated and definitely in pajama pants, wandering down the street with an automatic rifle, cops responded and tried to detain him for jaywalking. He resisted the officers, gave his name as “Joe Schmoe,” yelled about open carrier rights, yelled about revolution, accused the officers of being gang members, at one point repeatedly grabbed his crotch, and dared the officers, “Why don’t you fucking shoot me?”

“I am not going to die because you’re angry with me,” the negotiator told him. At one point an officer is heard to say that the man had “far exceeded” his open carry rights.

The negotiator eventually convinced the man to surrender his rifle, which was returned to him the next day.

It's not at all uncommon for people with dementia to act irrationally with their guns. The paranoid hostility is a common indicator.

Here in lies your problem.

This guy can walk around public streets drunk with a rifle and they return the weapon to him the very next day, Adam Kokesh and Alex Jones can incite people to kill cops and its called free speech, Cliven Bundy can amass a private army to post guns at law enforcement, set up checkpoints and harass the media, One of the Las Vegas shooters (a convicted Felon) could openly walk around Bundy ranch with a gun all the while law enforcement sat on their hands and did nothing.

Can you guess what these privileged people have in common?

I was thinking the same thing when I watched the video.

Oddly enough,Kalamazoo has a racial profiling problem too.

since he's nowhere near being "well regulated" enough to join a state militia, if we still had them.

I'm so sick of gun loons getting their way on everything. I'm sick of being a little afraid all the time because bullets will pass through my walls almost like they're not there (and my tail light was cracked by a drunken jackass firing his gun down the block). I'm so terribly sick of seeing children killing each other because some loon didn't feel safe unless he had a loaded gun with the safety off lying around where he (and the kids) could grab it at any time.

I'm happy to say the drunken jackass has spent some jail time and isn't back yet. I'm sad to say that with such lax enforcement of gun crime that he'll probably get his guns back, get a snootful, and resume his career of getting drunk and firing his gun down the street.

Sounds like the city/county needs a new DA.

Lots of mishandling of the situation by the cops, too.
