It's time for the Democrats to take it to the people.

Do they want to go to war again in Iraq?

Or do they want to bring our troops home to guard our borders? This is the choice for the American people to make.

There is a problem with young people, women and children, coming across our borders. We either need to attend to the problem at our borders or we will be attending to the problems in the cities. What type of problems? Food and housing, to begin with.

Or we could bring our troops home and develop a program to assist those countries in Central America. We need a program to stop the immigration into this country from the Central American countries.

This should be on the next ballot. Do we want to work together to solve the immigration problem or do we want to go back to war in Iraq and the Middle East?

Take it to the people. This should show just how important is their vote.

But I can't imagine the program that would solve the immigration problem. Any ideas?

Perhaps during the 1960's?

But we should try through diplomacy to get South American countries to assist in a jobs and infrastructure program in that country. Since there are many reports of violence in places like El Salvador, perhaps we might want a contingent of troops to act as security for the aid? But whatever route is chosen, it will certainly be better than another war in the Middle East.

for local production and maybe cheap financing for Women owned small businesses. What we should not do is let the IMF or World Bank saddle them with debt to finance infrastructure that benefits NO ONE locally and serves only as leverage to extract their resources.

The police or military are indeed threatening the people of those countries.

The first question to the war mongers would be how are you going to pay for your war before you start one and not we are going to pay for the war but never did. The next consideration would be our veterans has to be cared for before any war. Because of the needed infrastructure needs this will also be funded before wars.

I has come up before we can not use our military to enforce our borders but that was during the Bish administration and he did not want to close our borders.
