On defending Hillary :/

Last edited Mon Jun 16, 2014, 08:34 PM - Edit history (1)

So... I'm a 9/11 skeptic, or as some of you prefer, the pejorative, Truther. I find it pretty fucking ironic that despite there being legitimate questions about that day, this site condones and encourages vilifying "crazies" like me, while Hillary is defended for her steadfast belief in what Joss Weadon termed "The Sky Bully". Alas, it's the kind of hypocrisy and relativism I've come to expect from democrats who swing with anything to win.

I was not criticizing her for her beliefs and also I find the phrase "sky bully" to be utter facile bullshit.

also, I admire too many people who have been devout: MLK, Thomas Merton, for example.

Does admiring them legitimize their beliefs for you? If it does, you just illustrated the hypocrisy I'm talking about.

that's not hypocrisy, hon. Methinks, you don't know the meaning of that word. And of course, you're still wrong about the bible only portraying god as vengeful.

Not entirely believing the government account of an event = crazy
Believing in God = sane

Would this be the likely DU consensus?
