People, stay safe tonight. It's going to be another stormy one.

These storms and the winds they have brought are terrible. Also the ground is finally saturated in our area so any heavy rains will just bring run off and flash flooding. Our area had damaging winds during the night and morning leaving trees down, rooves damaged, and power lines down. I hate it when severe storms come in the night.

Leave a radio on.

And it's REALLY loud. And my phone delivers warnings as well. So no real need for a radio.

I have a feeling that this year is going to be a bad one. It seems like we usually have a bad summer after a cold winter, and this past winter was unusually cold for us, as it was for the rest of the country. I hope I'm wrong. I can deal with hurricanes if they're small ones, it's the intense storms that worry the hell out of me. I guess I'll never get over Katrina.
