OMFG - Dick Cheney and Liz Cheney said what??

Rarely has a U.S. president been so wrong about so much at the expense of so many.

As the terrorists of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) threaten Baghdad, thousands of slaughtered Iraqis in their wake, it is worth recalling a few of President Obama's past statements about ISIS and al Qaeda. "If a J.V. team puts on Lakers' uniforms that doesn't make them Kobe Bryant" (January 2014). "[C]ore al Qaeda is on its heels, has been decimated" (August 2013). "So, let there be no doubt: The tide of war is receding" (September 2011).

Rarely has a U.S. president been so wrong about so much at the expense of so many. Too many times to count, Mr. Obama has told us he is "ending" the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan—as though wishing made it so. His rhetoric has now come crashing into reality. Watching the black-clad ISIS jihadists take territory once secured by American blood is final proof, if any were needed, that America's enemies are not "decimated." They are emboldened and on the march.

Our president doesn't seem to. Iraq is at risk of falling to a radical Islamic terror group and Mr. Obama is talking climate change. Terrorists take control of more territory and resources than ever before in history, and he goes golfing. He seems blithely unaware, or indifferent to the fact, that a resurgent al Qaeda presents a clear and present danger to the United States of America.

When Mr. Obama and his team came into office in 2009, al Qaeda in Iraq had been largely defeated, thanks primarily to the heroic efforts of U.S. armed forces during the surge. Mr. Obama had only to negotiate an agreement to leave behind some residual American forces, training and intelligence capabilities to help secure the peace. Instead, he abandoned Iraq and we are watching American defeat snatched from the jaws of victory.
-----------------------
Notice how he avoids the fact that Bush negotiated the withdrawal.
Shut the fuck up you war criminal of a Dick. No administration in history was more wrong than you pillagers, liars and murderers. 9/11 happened under your watch you scumbags.

And he is trying to change that history with more of his lies.

History may show him as the biggest liar since the Pontius Pilate.

What Cheney knows is that history is written by the "winners". He's foolish enough to believe this means the people with the most money.

Understand what a pathological liar is. Basically, a pathological liar is someone who tells lies habitually, chronically and compulsively. It has simply become a way of life for this person, to make up things for a variety of reasons and eventually, the truth becomes uncomfortable while weaving whoppers feels right to them. This kind of lying tends to develop early on in life, often as a response to difficult home or school situations that seemed to resolve better if the child lied. It's a bad habit, not a manipulative trait––this is how to differentiate a pathological liar from a sociopath who does seek to manipulate.

I know several tea bag types, old style Republicans, admirers of George Bush and quasi neocon. I have never met an enthusiastic supporter of a Cheney anywhere; except media types who encourage Cheney outrage.

...from Iraq, which would have allowed U.S. troops to stay in the country. Obama was left to clean up the mess. This lie is on a par with the one where they say U.N. weapons inspectors left Iraq because Sadaam kicked them out. That happened once, but Bush kicked out the weapons inspectors before his invasion.

which he is free to do. The President is not free to start wars without Congressional approval.

Cheney is such a chicken that he won't even debate this in a fair forum.

Did I mention I'd like for him to go ahead and die? I almost never say that, but this guy is a special kind of evil. Sneer-mouthed robo-hearted crotchstain.

...get out there early and often with your preferred story. Go on as many shows as possible, write as many op-eds as possible, keep pushing, pushing, pushing your own version of events and your own passionate analysis, being sure to blame, blame, blame the other guy -- that way, you plant these "facts" and emotions in your audience.

Sadly, this tactic works very very well. Advertising and propaganda use the same techniques.

Dick and Liz Cheney are nasty, evil human beings (or possibly lizard people, who knows). But they ain't dumb.
