Really? Did they call it 'polo' or 'football' or 'HEADBALL' ?

Please cite your historical fact source for ::

""polo was originally played with the heads of enemies as the "ball." ""

I'd really like to know.

... but here ya go for a modern reference. Polo was originally called "bughazi" or "buzkashi." Played with human heads or dead goats. Funnily enough, when the goat is used the head is removed. In modern Afghanistan, they still occasionally play it with dead goats.
