Tough Manly Men

the story below is one of the things we put up with so some people can feel like "tough manly men" while playing with their guns.

New father shot, killed during infant's homecoming (there will be no more moments like this)

Officials in Panama City say a new father is dead after a neighbor accidentally fired a gun into the family's home during a gathering to celebrate the infant's homecoming.

Steven Justin Ayers, 33, died Tuesday night after the stray bullet struck his head.

According to arrest reports, Ayers' neighbor was on his porch and picked up a loaded 9mm pistol. The neighbor told authorities that he accidentally discharged the pistol.

The man was arrested and charged with manslaughter and with being felon in possession of a firearm. He had a previous felony conviction for carrying a concealed firearm.

It's heartbreaking to think that a stupid, stupid accident separated this father and his newborn forever.
