when she was correctly attacking Bush for the death of her son in Bushco illegal invasion and occupation of Iraq.
He said she was a pretty big prostitute after her son was killed in Iraq - a grieving mother was accused of prostituting her dead son because she condemned his war on lies. His producer called her a tragedy pimp. Not one of them will ever be forgiven by me. Tell him, Pat Robertson, Limbaugh, McBlood et al to go Cheney themselves.

On the January 19 edition of MSNBC's Countdown, host Keith Olbermann named right-wing radio personality and recent CNN hire Glenn Beck the "Worst Person in the World" for calling anti-war protester Cindy Sheehan "a pretty big prostitute," as noted by Media Matters for America. After bestowing the award, Olbermann advised CNN on its decision to give Beck his own show: "From personal experience, maybe you should bail on this right now. Two simple words: Michael Savage."
Beck mentioned Sheehan on his January 10 radio show, during what he called a "search for the biggest prostitute," which, he said, sought to answer the question, "Who'll do anything for power or money?" The choices offered by Beck initially pitted former Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss against Democratic National Committee chairman Howard Dean, Sen. John Kerry (D-MA), and suspended Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Terrell Owens. Beck later added Sheehan to the discussion, calling her "a pretty big prostitute." His producer Steve "Stu" Burguiere observed that "tragedy pimp" would be "the most accurate description."
On January 17, Olbermann named CNN News Group executive vice president Ken Jautz the "Worst Person" for hiring Beck, noting Beck's statement regarding Hurricane Katrina survivors: "The only ones we're seeing on television are the scumbags. It is exactly like the 9-11 victims' families. There are about 10 of them that are spoiling it for everybody."

That's actually the biggest lesson DU has taught me in 12 years: partisanship = hypocrisy.

Where do they get their money? Donations, folks, donations. They're glad handlers, they're glorified beggars, they're down there raising money during all of this. At one point I saw today Sheehan's website is getting 25 grand a day. Now you got a bunch of caterers down there and Joan Baez is down there strumming out the tunes, but the Washington politicians are not joining them down there, and this is upsetting....
"The Texans are very patient people, but the real Texans are not the people in that ditch down there. REAL TEXANS are PUTTING ON THEIR CAMOUFLAGE GEAR and getting ready to go out there and GO HUNTING. you know, hunting season is coming up. At some point REAL TEXANS ARE GOING TO GET FED UP WITH WHAT'S GOING ON DOWN THERE and it's going to be REAL FUN TO WATCH, IF YOU GET MY DRIFT, ...a-hem..."
- - - Rush Limbaugh, August 22, 2005, discussing the Camp Casey antiwar demonstrators in the roads & ditches at Camp Casey outside Crawford, Texas, "real Texans", and "hunting season"
(I had the questionable "privilege" to listen to Limbaugh's "drift" by live broadcast on August 22, 2005, as I was driving home from the ditches of Camp Casey outside of Crawford, Texas, where I had gone to show my solidarity with Cindy Sheehan.
Like Cindy Sheehan, I had encouraged and supported my own son's decision to volunteer for combat service in Iraq.
Unlike Cindy Sheehan, I did not have to bear, as she did, the grief of family tragedy.
I was reminded of Rush's "drift" when, in the wake of Rep. Gifford's shooting, Limbaugh announced, "At no time has anybody ever called for violence...We've never subtly promoted it."
