I caught some of Rush Limbaugh's show today at lunch. Why? Because that is where a lot of their nonsense starts.
He was *SURPRISE* defending Dick Cheney on the Fox News interview last night. "Everything he said is true!!!"
He then cited a Wall St. Journal article and The Telegraph about ISIS "siezing Saddam's chemical weapons facility". "Wait I thought he didn't HAVE WMD?!?" He later said that since there was a facility he had to have had WMD. This was followed by a rambling justification of all the pro-war nonsense claiming that it all came true.
Just a heads up on what might be the new talking point.
This is the article he was referencing

17.09 Chemical weapons produced at the Al Muthanna facility, which Isis today seized, are believed to have included mustard gas, Sarin, Tabun, and VX.
Here is the CIA's file on the complex.
Stockpiles of chemical munitions are still stored there. The most dangerous ones have been declared to the UN and are sealed in bunkers.
Although declared, the bunkers contents have yet to be confirmed.
These areas of the compound pose a hazard to civilians and potential blackmarketers.
Numerous bunkers, including eleven cruciform shaped bunkers were exploited. Some of the bunkers were empty. Some of the bunkers contained large quantitiesof unfilled chemical munitions, conventional munitions, one-ton shipping containers, old disabled production equipment (presumed disabled under UNSCOM supervision), and other hazardous industrial chemicals.

(63,203 posts)AFAIK, they've never stopped claiming that the had WMD. Only grudgingly have they even admitted that the WMDs haven't yet been found.
