This has been an amazing week

Re - Iraq - we have all been vindicated and the neo-cons have been publicly lashed by all rational people. Cheney has finally been humiliated really looks like the deluded lying asshole of a war criminal that he has always been. McBlood looks like a self-contradictory buffoon. No one gives a shit what Bremer, Wolfowitz, Senor et al have to say about Iraq and policy.

Scott Walker and Chris Christie are up to their asses in career ending trouble.
Cantor has galloped to oblivion.

Looks like the criminal enterprise known as the ReTHUG GOP is finally getting its comeuppance.

Now get out the 2014 vote and kick them out of the House and Senate.

10. Silly msanthrope, none of that matters when it's Obama we're discussing

Or at least when some people are discussing Obama.

Personally, I go by his record of not getting us into wars. Syria, for instance, which some here were 100% convinced Obama was going to get us into -- especially when he referred the matter to Congress, told them to do their job, and for some reason they didn't really want to be the ones responsible; poof, it was on to the next outrage.

He also told the graduating class at West Point that when all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail; but that the tool box of the US government contains many more tools than that.

But you know -- warmonger.

He wasn't going to go to congress until the UK parliament nixed the UK's role. Don't try to rewrite history.

from Syria? There, again, he asked for an AUMF.

So I doubt there will be any AUMF. He has ordered about 575 military personnel to Iraq. There has been mention of green berets as well, but I dont know if that has been confirmed. And he has said that "targeted and limited" strikes are likely. The US military has No role in Iraq. We didn't in 2003,we don't now.
