Would you volunteer to be one of the 300 'non-combatant advisers' to go back to Iraq?
Anybody know if this will be a volunteer mission?
If I had been assigned over there previously, I don't think I would like to go back.

I was a 'cold warrior' in the ANG.
Never been shot at.
If I had been, I wouldn't want to risk it again.

I understand these Green Berets are not the Super double secret background 'black op' variety we see in the movies, but professional soldiers working in small teams inserted in to Republican Guard units to help get their shit together. It may or may not work.

this is not a volunteer mission. People are getting orders if they were unlucky enough to be in the rotation.
