The Human Walking Program provides desk-bound Melbournians a chance to get out of the office, get some exercise, and make a new best friend.
It's hoped two-legged participants become so enamored with the experience, they'll eventually decide to adopt their companion.
It's a wonderful idea. In fact, it's where the dogs are doing the rescuing.
