So... re Iraq, Obama can be either Ford or LBJ?

He can keep "hands-off" and let the Iraqis "sort it out". Or he can keep the domestic RW ( and the corporate media) quiet by heading down Escalation Row.

My guess is he will opt for a "middle path". ( It's his style.) Not withstanding the overwhelming likelihood that there IS no "middle path."

At least none that doesn't offer the prospect of "low-level", war-without-end.

We may have to wait for a freeper president to "get out " of Iraq.

They started it and it appears... politically, anyway.... that only THEY can end it.
