Judith Miller Is Criticizing The Media's Iraq Coverage. No, ReallyFox News turned once more to former New York Times reporter Judith Miller on Friday for a discussion about how the media is handling the current crisis in Iraq.
Miller might not be the first choice for many people to discuss this topic, given her status as the most prominent symbol of the media's disastrous reporting in the run-up to the Iraq War, but Fox News apparently felt otherwise, asking her on for two Fridays in a row to criticize the media's coverage of Iraq's battle with militant group ISIS.
During her latest appearance, the elephant of Miller's past was an even bigger presence in the Fox News studios, as she took aim at those who have critiqued the media's continued reliance on Iraq War hawks.
"The media still loves to beat up on who was responsible for the Iraq War, and who was to blame for the current controversy...and that is not helpful," she said.

(8,146 posts)privilege for the few (RW) versus needs of the many(LW)...the fascasti are totally aware of the underlying rotteness in the system-they use human nature against us/them... (after all, pre US civil war, how many young white guys noticed that THEY could not compete with unpaid, or slave, labour? Actually, quite a few did, but the 'hushtorians' are almost all rightwingers, so you never hear...)

These scumbag's statements are the Marianas Trench of hypocritical statements. Just when I think they can't possibly sink lower than their last disgusting tirade, they treat us to an onslaught of something even more repulsive. Day after day. Maybe she should tell us exactly where the blame for the Iraq War should be placed.
Why won't they just go away?

(82,849 posts)You knew Judith Miller would come slithering out to opine on Iraq once the name Chalabi started getting some ink and air time. Did Miller favor us with her rendition of the guy in the baseball cap walking back and forth, pointing at the ground where those ol' debbil weapons of mass destruction had been laying around? That one always make me shake my head at the credulousness of certain overpaid media personalities.

(7,512 posts)Was it not enough that they got away with murder, literally? You made your millions, you had your 15 minutes (which turned into an excruciating 8 years), and we all thought you rode off into the sunset (not in a Halliburton vehicle of course because those would fall apart).
It's like the adrenochrome scene in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. We've taken too much and now we're fucked. The walls are melting, there's gun fire and explosions going off all around us, Ann Coulter in her natural beast mode is dancing to satanic music, and the heads of Bush, Cheney, Rumsfield, Rice, etc are all floating around us, taunting and laughing.
Somebody stop this train. I want to get off.
