Supreme Court issues ruling in Lee Papa v. Democratic Underground LLC

A sharply divided Court issued its long awaited ruling in a case that has also divided the internet over free speech concerns.

The court ruled 5-4 in favor of Democratic Underground LLC, upholding their right to hide threads with swing vote Justice Kennedy joining the conservative side in the majority.

Lawyers for Papa had attempted to show that vulgar words are used differently in other countries and that Democratic Underground's decision to hide his work was rash and an infringement on his Constitutional rights.

Reading for the majority, Justice Alito said, "Not true. Free speech does not extend to privately owned domains."
